"Off Dust"
It all came upon the midnight clear
The sound of a long awaited cheer
Oh. Alas a boy. Behold my heir
Mama's day glow right so dear
The mystery of birthday came so sudden
The nights of pain and tears from Eden
Ends with the birth of a child so golden
Thank you mama for you were yet; a maiden.
How did he grow? The love so uncommon
How did he glow? The wisdom of Solomon
Now I know, the beatitudes of the sermon
To the old, dreams, the young, vision.
The fray play of dust of yesterday, a mirage
The friends and family of today, a village
Though, so beard with the oil of vintage
What awaits him tomorrow, a golden marriage
